Reviews
"Bowden and Lappin nearly bringing the house down in a brilliantly funny and highly mobile version, piano included, of Victoria Wood’s Ballad of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It)."
The Stage review of
Spread A Little Happiness
"Jeanne’s (Jenni Bowden) "Jimmy", is superbly and sensitively sung, and her performance sent tears streaming down my face."
Jo Sutherland's One Stop Arts review of
Goodnight Mrs Calabash
"... a Cinderella with a delightful singing voice and a smile warm enough to dispel the winter blues..."
"As the good fairy Azuriel, Jenni Bowden is a dead ringer for Cheryl Cole - at least as far as her Geordie accent is concerned. But she also doubles as Princess Belle and, good actress that she is, has no problem shifting her accent to the Home Counties."
The Stage reviews of Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty
"...Rachel Knowles, Kate Robson-Stuart and Jenni Bowden blend gorgeously in a heart-rending version of Magic Fingers, whose combination of driving melody, rich harmonies and lyrical genius perfectly reflect the make-do attitude of post-war Britain to create one of my favourite musical moments ever."
